Pōwhiri to Welcome Charles Royal to Ngā Pae o te Māramatanga and the University of Auckland

Te Ahukaramū Charles Royal has recently been appointed Director of Ngā Pae o te Māramatanga, one of New Zealand’s eight centres of research excellence. He has also been appointed Professor of Indigenous Development in the Faculty of Arts at the University of Auckland. Charles’s appointment commenced the 1st of December 2009.

On the 9th of February, Charles will be formally welcomed upon Waipapa Marae, Wynyard Street, the University of Auckland.The pōwhiri will commence at 10am, followed by lunch.
